The following is a list of German Aufrichtigs murdered during the Holocaust, or deported and then disappearing without trace. Aufrichtig spouses are included under their married names. Maiden names are also given, where known.

 

 

Casper [Kasper] Czarlinski (husband of Hulda Aufrichtig)

 b 18 September 1859 in Bordzichoe. Resident in Berlin.

   Deported on Transport I/52 from Berlin to Theresienstadt on 26 August 1942.

 d 20 September 1942.

 


Elisabeth Aufrichtig (Elisabeth [Else] Weissenberg) (wife of Georg Aufrichtig)

 b 21 September 1881 in Neugarten. Resident in Breslau.

   Sent to Grussau on May 1942.

   Deported on Transport IX/2-7 from Breslau to Theresienstadt on 31 August 1942.

   Deported on Transport Bs-1112 from Theresienstadt to Treblinka on 29 September 1942.

 d Sep/Oct 1942.

 


Else Aufrichtig (Else Ernestine Lowy) (wife of Viktor Aufrichtig)

 b 22 September 1873 in Berlin. Resident in Charlottenburg, Berlin.

   Deported on Transport I/39 from Berlin to Theresienstadt on 6 August 1942.

 d 28 July 1943 in Theresienstadt 

 

 

Fanny [Frumet] Aufrichtig (Fanny/Frumet Vogelhut) (wife of Isaak Aufrichtig)

  b 1 October 1880 in Brzesko, Krakow. Resident in Stuttgart.

  d - cir 1943, Missing presumed dead in Brzesko, Poland.

 

 

Georg Aufrichtig

b 2 December 1867 in Klein Kosel. Resident in Breslau.

   Sent to Grussau in May 1942

   Deported on Transport IX/2-6 from Breslau to Theresienstadt on 31 August 1942.

   Deported Transport Bs-1111 from Theresienstadt to Treblinka on 29 September 1942.

d Sep/Oct 1942.

 

 

Hulda Aufrichtig

 b 10 July 1871 in Tarnowitz, Poland

   Deported on Transport I/52 from Berlin to Theresienstadt on 23 September 1942.

 d 17 June 1943 in Theresienstadt.

(Hulda died under the married name of Hulda Czarlinski. Her husband, Kaspar Czarlinski, had been sent from Berlin to Theresienstadt a month earlier on 26 August 1942. He died there on 20 September 1942, three days before Hulda's arrival.

 

 

Isaak Aufrichtig

 b 3 April 1882 in  Zawadowska, Podhajce, Poland. Resident in Stuttgart.

   Deported from Stuttgart to Riga on 1 December 1942

 d 1942 in Riga

 (Isaak's wife, Fanny [Frumet] Vogelhut, was visiting relatives in Brzesko, Poland when she disappeared)

 


Johanna Auerbach

 b 6 February 1881 in Tarnowitz, Poland.

   Deported on Transport V/4 from Dresden to Theresienstadt on 11 August 1942.

   Deported on Transport Dz-927 from Theresienstadt to Auschwitz on 15 May 1944.

Käthe [Käte] Aufrichtig

 b 22 January 1898, in Koschentin. Resident in Ilten.

   Deported from Wunstorf to Brandenburg an der Havel, Tötungsanstalt on 27 September 1940

 d 27 September 1940 (NB: Käthe's murder described as "Euthanasia"

 (Käthe's birthplace of Koschentin suggests a possible tie-in with Wilhelm Aufrichtig)

   Deported from Berlin to Riga Ghetto on 25 January 1942

     Deported from Berlin to Auschwitz on 12 January 1943

  b 9 July 1899 in Teplice, Bohemia. Resident in Charlottenburg, Berlin.

     Deported from Berlin to Raasiku (Reval), Tötungsstätte on 24 September 1942-26 September 1942.

     Deported to Stutthof Konzentrationslage on 23 August 1944.

  d 27 November 1944 in Stutthof KZ.

 


Wilhelm Aufrichtig

b 12 May 1869 in Koschentin. Resident of Dresden.

    Deported on Transport V/4-151 from Dresden to Theresienstadt on 11 August 1942.

d  4 July 1943 in Theresienstadt.
