I want to draw your attention to a remembrance project that is taking place in Vienna, now. Comments: Congratulations to you for a wonderful site. I could not find the Hamburg Aufrichtig on it, so here is the information:

Max Aufrichtig (8 Jul 1879, Hamburg-20 Jun 1950, London) married my relative Sabina Kalter (28 Mar 1889, Jaroslaw-1 Sep 1957, London) in Hamburg on 30 Jul 1919. Sabina was a renowned opera singer in Hamburg, but I believe she studied at a music academy in Vienna. Max's address as of 26 Jun 1923 was Husumerstrasse 21, Hamburg. They emigrated from Hamburg to Hampstead about 1939, and, subsequently, used the surname Andrews. They had a son, Kurt H./Keith (c. 11 Oct 1920, Hamburg-4 Apr 1989, Edinburgh), and a daughter, Renata Berta/Renee (c. 9 Sep 1923-29 May 1991, Edinburgh), but I do not know if either married or had children.

My main interest is in the Kalters, and I also have established a family website, at www.kalter.org.
